A tasty, slightly more mellow, matcha
I have really been enjoying this matcha, it’s got a light tannin bite, but it’s not over powering or bitter. I’ve been making mostly cold matchas with flavored foam so far and it’s been great. I had some fun flavored matchas in Portland Oregon that I’ve been using for inspiration, such as pandan matcha with milk tea cold foam, peppermint matcha with vanilla cream, banana matcha with vanilla cold foam, etc.
I use the handheld whisk by a different maker and this matcha blends right up. It is beautifully vibrant green and has been good as cold or hot.
